Dr. Cindi Morshead brings more than 20 years of experience in neurobiology and stem cell research to SATAra's founding team. As a Professor of Surgery at the University of Toronto, her work sits at the intersection of basic science and clinical translation: developing cell-based strategies, including cellular reprogramming and gene therapy, that move from laboratory discovery toward real patient benefit.

Throughout her career, Dr. Morshead has led multidisciplinary teams spanning academic and industry partnerships, with a consistent focus on improving recovery outcomes for patients with complex neurological conditions. Her expertise in neuroregenerative medicine is a direct expression of SATAra's core mission: not managing neurological disease, but building therapies that change its course.
